We are delighted to be the chosen charity of Supervalu Ranelagh (formerly Superquinn Ranelagh). We cannot thank Derek, Jane and all the staff and customers in the store for their continued generosity over the last two years since our partnership began.
Many great things have happened for DEBRA since Supervalu Ranelagh took us on. They have taken part in marathons, organised a 12 hour cycle in store, arranged massive charity shop donation drives, sold books and cakes and filled their store with Christmas Carollers for DEBRA. For our 25th birthday celebration, our Butterfly Bash in Café En Seine they baked the biggest birthday cake imaginable.
And if that wasn’t enough on the 25th of October 2013, some of their staff even went as far as getting a butterfly tattoo to show their support for EB Awareness Day. Their generosity knows no bounds and this May, they are supporting us again by providing the Terenure 5 Mile Run being run in aid of DEBRA with teas, coffees and scones for all those who take part on the day. We are incredibly grateful to all customers and staff in Supervalu Ranelagh, if you are in the area please drop in and buy some of their delicious Chocolate Biscuit Cake they are selling in aid of DEBRA Ireland.

“All the staff at Supervalu Ranelagh are excited to have gotten behind DEBRA Ireland to raise funds for this deserving charity. Over the next few months we are hoping to organise plenty of fundraising activities and want to raise as much money as possible. Throughout the year we will be selling our Ultimate Chocolate Biscuit Cake with 80c from each one sold going directly to DEBRA Ireland. We are hoping we can make a big difference to children living with EB”.
