DEBRA Ireland is very grateful to the Hilton Hotel Group, Dublin who have chosen us again as their charity partner for 2012.

Last year they organised many different events throughout their hotels in Dublin. From Pancake and Cookie Days to a 10km walk in Howth as part of the “Around the World in a Day” initiative, an event that takes place in all of the Hilton Hotels, worldwide. In July they collected items for the DEBRA Ireland Charity Shop.

Later on in the year, the Hilton staff continued their fundraising efforts by jumping out of planes, driving around the country in 24 hours and hosting a Gala Event in the Conrad Hotel – “An Evening with Mícheál Ó Muircheartaigh” on Friday the 7th of October 2011.

We are delighted to be working with such a caring organisation who are going above and beyond to raise funds for DEBRA Ireland. To each and everyone of the Hilton Staff we thank you sincerely for everything that you have done for our charity.

Hilton Hotels Ireland Ltd has chosen Debra Ireland as our nominated charity for 2011. Each year under the guidance of “Hilton in the Community Foundation”; our own registered charity we choose a local children’s charity to partner with. The Debra fundraising team are fantastic to work with – very experienced and professional. Hilton employees together with their friends and families are committed to fundraising as much as possible for this amazing charity. Our partnership has been really successful to date. Events are pitched at every level so our team can participate in big exciting fundraising events like marathons and abseils, small initiatives such as pub quizzes and raffles or by making donations to the Debra Ireland charity shop. We have found the public are really keen to support our events and interested in the great work the charity carries out.
