Welcome to our Spring Newsletter.
When we asked our families with EB, they told us their top priority is research. That’s why we are delighted to share with them and with you, in our newsletter some exciting research news.
Read about our first “Sibling Appreciation Awards” that focused on siblings of those living with EB and a way thank them for their love and support. The responses were heart-warming and we were thrilled!
We also want to thank each and every one of you for the success of ‘Steptember’ last year. An incredible €125,000 was raised and will go towards research, nurses, and family care. This was only made possible because of Emma, Trisha, and YOU – and we simply cannot say thank you enough!
We also welcome our wonderful new Research Officer, Sarah, who shares her experiences working in DEBRA Ireland and why research is so important.
