Patient Ambassador Emma Fogarty recently chatted to Kathryn Thomas on RTE Radio 1’s The John Murray Show.

It’s been an incredible summer so far for Emma Fogarty. Not only is she the oldest woman in Ireland living with Recessive Dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa (RDEB) but a few weeks after turning Dingle Blue with her 30th birthday party she passed her driving test – which makes her the first woman with Recessive Dystrophic EB in Ireland to pass!

“I’m just like any other 30 year old. I love going out, having a laugh and being with my friends. People don’t know how to react to me.  Just treat me like any one else, but be a bit more careful. Fight and live your life. Life is for living”

She was recently invited onto The John Murray Show and here’s her interview with Kathryn Thomas.
