2018 Expedition is Sold Out. We are now taking registrations for our 2019 Expedition.

Our incredible expedition is a once in a lifetime opportunity to tick some major challenges off your bucket list. Our group will consist of a small group of 15 fellow female adventurers but more importantly it will make a huge difference in the lives of the bravest people you might ever meet – our families battling EB.

The total fundraising target for this trip is €5,500 (which includes flights, accommodation, all training, food and equipment).

Of the €5,500 fundraising total, €3,500 goes towards DEBRA Ireland’s latest service – a new EB mobile nurse, with supreme EB expertise, who will visit families at home. This role will transform lives of our most vulnerable patients – for the first time, they can have hospital expertise at home. This service is top of the priorities for parents because once this nurse is in place, she will not only truly understand the home context and family’s needs but she will also be able to reach out and train local caregivers.
